Sorry, wrong number I've always had a somewhat antagonistic relationship with the telephone. Our house has the misfortune of having a telephone number that has only one number different then the local big box store, and many other businesses in town. Almost every other week we pick up the phone and hear somebody, usually in some deep drawl say "Helloww? Is thayut Waul-Marrt?" Sometimes, we even get calls from people asking for Fed-Ex. Or, the worst call happened when I had been working at an antique mall in Cocoa, where the dealers rent out space - sometimes as small as just one shelf. So one day the phone rings and I pick it up: Caller: "Yes, I'm calling about my shelf is it ready?" Me: "Uhh... I don't know, you'll have to call (antique mall owner's name) about that..." "Are you sure? Because I spoke with somebody there yesterday about my shelf and they said it would be ready this morning." "I'm sorry, but I don't remember hearing anything about that!" "What?" This went on for some time. She was actually trying to reach a glass shop about a glass shelf that she had ordered. I had the luck of realizing this before I unintentionally ruined the glass shop's reputation... Then, during my early-early adolescent years, during the time when my voice changed from soprano to baritone, almost all sales people that had the misfortune to call, would say, "Oh, hello, ma'am, yes ma'am, thank you, ma'am, goodbye..." That was also about the same time I started telling sales people to "call back during suppertime." Some of them thought I was being serious. All that being said, I always have a much more difficult time calling people and talking to them over the phone, than I do meeting them in person and speaking to them face to face. I don't know why, but I'm always more comfortable talking to people face to face. But I'm weird. And I'm used to that. Blah. House number 11501 - WIP As I didn't want to be too direct in the reference to the flag I use different shades of blue and red. The 50 white squares refer to the 50 stars.
